Where It All Began.
Lady Liberty has always meant something to me. I still remember seeing her for the first time as a little girl on a trip to New York City and getting chills. Years later, a painting of Lady Liberty that I had curated for a restaurant became the unexpected starting point for Pass the Crown Around.
As a single mom rebuilding my career and reinventing myself, I realized how powerful it can be when women genuinely help other women move forward. I wanted to create something that connected women who were building, starting over, taking a chance or simply figuring out what came next. And somewhere along the way, by helping other women move forward….I found myself moving forward too.
